Our day-to-day operations are governed by the ethical principles of Air France-KLM. We are all ambassadors for ethical conduct and transparent professional practices. It is up to all of us to protect and enhance the Group's reputation, culture, and brands. Individually and collectively, we can really make a difference to our colleagues and our customers.

Diversity and inclusion: an ongoing commitment

At Air France-KLM, we believe that having an effective diversity and inclusion policy is essential for the well-being of all employees within the company, and that it has a positive impact on the performance of the organisation. The Group is therefore committed to combating all forms of discrimination and promoting equal opportunities. The professional integration of young people and the recruitment of people with disabilities are among our daily priorities. To ensure the Group emerged from the crisis stronger than ever before, in 2021, it launched an internal assessment to analyse its performance in Diversity & Inclusion (D&I). Based on this analysis, we are developing an action plan for the coming years to foster an increasingly inclusive culture and leadership approach, to further consolidate our fight against all forms of discrimination and inequality, focusing on issues such as representation, inclusion, and equity, as well as providing an objective measure of our progress.

Ensuring the health and safety of everyone, everywhere
Description

Safety is an integral part of all our decisions.

This is our number one commitment to ourselves, our colleagues, and our customers. In terms of safety, we go above and beyond the usual standards. Whether in the air or on the ground, we comply with the strictest air transport standards in the world. Our safety management system is structured around a strict framework combined with a culture of kindness.

It is our responsibility as an employer to be at our very best at work every day. To this end, we prioritise the health of our employees and their work-life balance, particularly through various programmes, benefit schemes, and support mechanisms.

Committed to more responsible travel

Today, if we want to hold on to and continue to build on our dreams, we must overcome the challenges of the century with the enthusiasm, creativity, and pioneering spirit that have always characterised Air France-KLM. Customers' relationships with travel have changed profoundly, and people are using air transport more responsibly, going on less frequent, longer journeys, and combining business travel and leisure more often. It is the role of Air France-KLM Group to adapt to the changes in our customers' behaviour, offering more informed and reasoned forms of travel, and making smarter use of our aircraft, as an integral part of a more interconnected transport network.

Business Ethics
Description

The Air France-KLM Group is commited to high ethical standards and full compliance with laws and regulations. It is a key element for our Group long term success.

Hence, conducting business with loyalty, fairness, transparency, honesty and integrity in the strict respect of the anti-corruption laws is especially important.

For this purpose, the Air France-KLM Anti-corruption Code of conduct, last revised end 2022, sets out the general guidelines that all staff have to adhere to when performing their duties. This code is also the base for communication and mandatory regular training to all staff members who can face corruption risk exposure in their business and professional relationships, enabling them to adopt the right conduct and avoid the detrimental consequences of corruption offences.
